We Care A/C, Plumbing, & Electric Donates New A/C Unit to Deserving Warner Robins Veteran
We Care Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electric, Middle Georgia’s leading HVAC and septic experts serving Macon-Bibb, Houston, and Peach counties, recently donated a brand new HVAC system to a local Veteran in need.
The deserving recipient was chosen from a pool of nominees sent in by We Care customers via the company’s website, which called for stories of local heroes that have impacted the Middle Georgia community. James Williams, a Veteran of the Air Force who is currently fighting cancer, was selected to receive the unit after his current HVAC system broke down. We Care hopes to ensure he has a comfortable indoor living experience moving forward with the donated unit, which was installed free-of-charge by expert technicians on May 30.
“We Care is honored to have the opportunity to give back to our nation’s Veterans who have served their country,” said Josh Jacobs, President and General Manager of We Care Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electric. “We thank the We Care community for nominating Mr. Williams and making this donation possible, and we hope this unit provides comfort and ease for him in his home.”
This initiative reflects We Care’s commitment to the community and willingness to go above and beyond to help those in need. As Georgia prepares for summer, it also serves as an important reminder that now is the time for homeowners to address HVAC system maintenance, to avoid breakdowns during the hottest months of the year.
“It’s massive,” Williams said. “When it’s hot and you got a lot of stuff that’s sticking to your body depending on adhesive, that adhesive don’t hold good when you’re sitting around sweating, so that’s what makes it so massive.”
